Welcome! If you're human, you're welcome.
This isn't hustle culture. It isn't “just think positive,” and it definitely isn't “organize your closet and find your bliss.”
Psychosynthesis coaching is a thoughtful, whole-person approach to exploring your life and the person you are becoming. It offers a place to pause, take stock, and spend some time with the things that matter to you. Your questions, your longings, your contradictions, your “what now?” and your “what if?”
Sometimes we need someone to walk alongside us for a while. Not to tell us who to become, but to help us listen more carefully to what is already asking for our attention.
Over the past decade, I've spent a good deal of time studying and working with psychosynthesis and related approaches to human development and inner life. My path has included professional Huber training, board-certified psychosynthesis coaching through the Synthesis Center in San Francisco and Dr. Didi Firman, and a nine-month Level 1 residency in Clinical Psychospiritual Education with the Spiritual Care Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
These days, I'm also completing graduate studies in peace, justice, inner transformation, and public theology through St. Stephen's University, which has been completely thrilling.
All of this informs how I work, but the most important thing is still you and whatever you are bringing.
I believe growth often happens when we feel safe enough to be seen as we are. I welcome people from all walks of life and hold space for people with many different identities, backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being in the world. LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, disabled, spiritually curious, religious, non-religious, and everything in between.
Psychosynthesis coaching is different from therapy. It isn't about diagnosis or treatment, and it isn't about fixing something that is supposedly wrong with you. I'm more interested in integration. In making room for the different parts of ourselves, including the uncertain, contradictory, vulnerable, hopeful, messy, and still-figuring-it-out parts.
Sometimes the things we are tempted to get rid of have something to tell us.
Think of this work less like boot camp and more like having a thoughtful and surprisingly honest companion for a stretch of the road. There may be practical questions. There may be deeper ones. Sometimes we'll talk about work, relationships, creativity, meaning, spirituality, or the strange business of becoming ourselves.
I don't believe you need to be pushed into becoming a better version of yourself. Sometimes what is needed is a little more room to hear yourself clearly.
I bring a few different lenses to my work. My background includes psychosynthesis, spiritual care, transpersonal psychology, ministry, and astrology, particularly Huber Astrological Psychology. At the same time, I'm also a pretty practical person, and I remain deeply interested in learning from the people I work with.
I suppose you could say I see my work as something of a spiritual offering, but not in a way that requires you to be spiritual, religious, or anything in particular.
I'm at my best when I can listen carefully and stay curious with you.
I'm not especially interested in becoming the expert on your life. You already live there. But I do believe that another person can sometimes notice things we can't see on our own, ask a useful question, offer a different perspective, or simply sit with us long enough for something to become clearer.
At the end of the day, I'm a regular humanoid who believes pretty strongly in your inherent worth, your capacity for growth, and your ability to express more of who you genuinely are.
If this way of working resonates with you, you're welcome to take a look at Work With Me or get in touch.
