Main Course Textbook & Pathway to Diploma Completion

To complete the Huber Astrological Psychosynthesis program, you will need a copy of the main course textbook, Astrological Psychology: The Huber Method. While there are many Huber astrology books to buy and enjoy, this is the main book for studies.

Pathway to Complete Your Diploma

The main textbook is The Huber Method, above. This will serve as 85% of the course content and there are many Huber books you can optionally buy along with various pdf articles and audio/video I will send you.

To complete the diploma you will work through the Full Syllabus, below. Please note there are 7 modules we will officially cover (1-7, skipping module 8). In unit 6 we no longer cover rectification as part of the diploma, either.

Cost per module is $320 CDN, taxes included, but for module 6 the cost is $200. So, six modules * $320 is $1920 plus module six $200 = a total of $2120 CDN. You can pay as you go, per module. I'll send an electronic payment link.

Process / How We Work Together

For each module I will send out questions for each unit. Using the main textbook you'll work through the unit and send back answers. I'll send supportive feedback as we we ave a thread through the diploma. Please note there are no "grades" or reliving of grade 8 math class trauma (there's no math!). I'm easy to work with and I'm a very good teacher. You'll be supported in your best style and in a manner that allows you to connect with the material and the becoming process of stepping into a Huber Astrological Psychosynthesis astrologer.

In-person at the end of each module

At the end of each module we can connect in-person, or through Zoom (usually 1.5-2 hours) and recap any fuzzy bits, and work through any questions you have.

The process combines working at your own pace through email correspondence with personalized one-on-one sessions, creating a gentle yet effective learning experience. Software for Huber

I use Regulus Huber Professional Platinum from Cathar Software https://catharastrologysoftware.com/. Juan Saba is a great support and I find his software speeds things up and makes Huber very accessible, especially with the ability to isolate aspect figures, etc. There is a student version and a professional version -- if you want to save money on the student version you can upgrade to professional later. Juan can clarify, but it's a simple process that saves a bit of upfront $$.

- Alternatively, you can use astro.com to create Huber charts, which works too (under extended charts select Huber Style and make sure you use Koch houses).

Chapter 2 The Aspect Level - Inner Motivation: Ch 2 introduces the aspects between planets in the chart and how they signify inner motivation. This includes colour, shaping, cohesion, and direction of the aspect structure along with aspect patterns.

Chapter 3. The Planets ‒ Levels of Consciousness: Ch 3 considers the planets in the major categories of tool, ego and transpersonal along with their association with subpersonalities. This is related to levels of consciousness showing how increasing awareness affects the ways in which the planets function — from early impulsiveness to the wider levels of the transpersonal.

Chapter 4. The House Level - Meeting the World: Ch 4 covers the astrological houses and the ways in which the inner motivation of the personality seeks to find expression in the world. This includes consideration of hemisphers, quadrants, the house intensity curve with the important concepts of low point and stress planets and the resolution of polarities that may occur across various axis.

Chapter 5. Nature or Nurture?: Ch 5 shows four ways in which conflicts of nature vs nurture may emerge from the birth chart. the family model shows the relationship between child and parents. Chapter 6. The Element of Time: Ch 6 considers time, starting with the gilt-edged Age Progression system. We work with progressions and transits and Age Point rectification of a birth chart.

Chapter 7. Personal and Transpersonal Growth: Ch 7 discusses the process of personal development through integration of the ego. It looks at the important role of the Moon Nodes, the ascendant, as indicators for personal growth. Finally, the Moon Node chart is introduced to better understand our ‘shadow side’ and provide insight to our unconscious drives.

Chapter 8. Applied Astrological Psychology (note - we no longer cover this module in the diploma): Ch 8 aims to consolidate the method of chart interpretation described in ch 1-7. It considers working as an astrological consultant and working with the three charts: Natal, House, and Moon Node.
